Modular Admin Capabilities

The platform has Module Driven Admin Capabilities in order to provide enhanced privileges to certain internal users in order to avoid granting access to Admin permissions beyond what is necessary. Capabilities allow for different permissions when managing the different modules such as Assessments, Issues, and Documents.

Enable Application Modules and Data Access

When System Admins grant Application Modules and Data access to internal users, they can further restrict or augment user access by Advanced Capabilities.

  1. From the System Admin Module, navigate to the Users screen and click on the user's name you wish to enable the capability for.

  2. From the Application Access section, click on the Toggle Switch to enable or disable Application Modules and Data Access.

Enable Advanced Capabilities

The Advanced Capabilities section lists various module-driven Admin Capabilities that can be granted to internal users as required.

Click on the checkbox button to enable or disable the advanced capability for each module. Once done, click on the Save button to proceed.

Note: Advanced Capabilities will supersede partner access restrictions.

Advanced Capabilities Explained

The table below explains in detail each Module Admin and its applicable advanced capability.

Admin

Description

Questionnaire Admin

Questionnaires Admins can view all Active Surveys and Questionnaires within their division with the same abilities as the existing Survey/Questionnaire Owner. For Example, Questionnaire Admins can evaluate questions, assign questions, and publish clarification questions across all Surveys/Assessments within their division.

Issues Management Admin

Issue Management Admins can view all Issues within their division with the same abilities as the existing Issue Owner. For Example, Issue Management Admins can write internal comments, add collaborators, collaborate externally, and Publish Issues across all Issues within their division.

Document Admin

Document Admins have the ability to archive Document Folders and view all Document Folders in their division that does not have the Confidential Permission enabled.

User Export Impact

When Downloading the Report from the Users screen in the System Admin Module and viewing the exported spreadsheet of your company's users, instead of the "User Administrator" column, you'll see:

  • The following four columns:

    • “Admin: User, Role, and Organization Management”

    • “Admin: Partner and Contact Management”

    • “Admin: Advanced Configuration Management”

    • “Admin: Distribution List Management”

  • And for each of these columns, the value is:

    • “Y“ if the user in that row possesses this admin privilege

    • “N“ otherwise
