Exporting Audit Logs

The Audit Logs keep a comprehensive history of all changes to your company's Partner, Relationship, Account, Contact, and File records on our platform. System Admins can use the Audit Logs to monitor setup changes, whether for identity and access configurations or for application data changes. While the audit logs can only be viewed and exported from System Admin, module-specific event histories are available to operational users according to their permissions.

From the Users screen, System Admins can download Audit Logs in CSV file format to view a history of changes made to Users, Roles, and Permissions.

  1. From the System Admin Module, navigate to the Users screen, click on the Export Data dropdown arrow, and select the Export Audit Logs option as shown below.

  2. From the Export Audit Logs Window, select the date range of your choice within a 90-day period to be exported to the CSV file, and click the Export Audit Logs button to export as shown below.

  3. This file will include the following information about each event in the audit log in the following order.

    Attribute

    Description

    Timestamp

    The date and time at which the event occurred

    User

    The user who initiated the event

    Access Type

    The type of action taken by User

    Object

    The type of object acted on by User

    Record

    The specific record of Object

    Old State

    The previous state of the record

    New State

    The new state of the record

    Status

    Whether the action succeeded or failed

    Source IP

    The IP address of User
