Viewing & Managing Requests

With Approval Workflows enabled, users can view & manage requests as desired.

Note: Users can only see requests that are in their corresponding Group/Stage

Navigating to the Requests Table

To view approval requests, open on the Requests module as displayed below:

Viewing Requests

Request Details

  1. To view a request, click on any request on the Requests Table as shown below:

    Note: You can also use our search and filter options to refine their tables data. For more information, please see our help article below:

  2. 2. An In Progress request will show you the underlying assessment and several options in the footer. In the footer you can view the request status, view details, or mark the request as Approved or Rejected.

  3. You can view the Request's Status by clicking the i icon to the left of the "View Detail" button as shown below:

  4. You can also view the Request Details window as shown below by clicking the View Detail button:

Request History

  1. To view the History for a Request, click on the Overview tab to the top right of the page on the Request Details screen as shown below:

  2. Click on the History tab to the top left of the Overview screen to view the complete history for the selected Request as shown below:

Viewing a Closed Request

A closed request shows details about who approved or rejected the request along with a link to view the underlying assessment.

Managing Requests

Approving or Rejecting Requests

  1. Reviewers can approve or reject a request by selecting the appropriate action in the footer.

  2. When approving or rejecting, you may add comments before clicking the Approve/Reject buttons.

    Note: If comments are mandatory per the Approval Workflow requirements, you will see an error if the comments are left empty.

Assigning Requests

  1. To assign a request, select any request that is in In Review status on the Requests Table as shown below:

  2. On the Request Details screen, click the Assign to Me link to assign the Request to yourself as shown below:

  3. You can assign the request to a different party by selecting the Assign to Someone Else link as shown below:

  4. Within the Assignment window, select the party you would like to assign the Request by clicking the Assign To dropdown arrow as shown below. Add an optional message to the party that you are assigning the request to if desired, and click the Assign button when finished:

    Note: You may only assign requests to Users in the same approval/stage group for the request's current stage

Changing the Request Owner

  1. To change the owner of a request, click the 3 dots icon to right of any request on the Requests Table and select the Change Owner option.

  2. On the following window, add the New Owner of your choice on the dropdown as shown below, type an additional comment for the new owner if desired, and click the Change Owner button to finalize the process as shown below:
